Is it legal to record my doctor's appointment?
Yes, everywhere in Canada. One-party consent means the person whose appointment it is, you, your mom, your dad, your spouse, can legally record a conversation they're part of, for their own use. Caraid is built around that right.
Is my family's information private?
Yes. Everything is encrypted and stored only on Canadian servers. Caraid never sells your data and never uses it to train public AI models. It's built to meet Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA.
When does Caraid launch?
We're building Caraid now, with a first launch planned in Ontario. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the moment we're ready for you.

Krista and Nav are friends who recognized the same need from different directions: shared family health data, patient-owned, and accurate after every visit.
Krista brings a marketing background across medical devices, fintech, and commercial hygiene. Nav brings years of experience building startups. Together, they built Caraid to be the tool they both wished already existed.
